Definition of “Dating”

How do you define dating?

Ms. HeartBeat Responds:
Spending fun time together, just the two of you. Your goal is to discover who and what this person is. Dating allows you to get to know them (and them to know you) to see if you want to make it something more serious.

There is light dating, serious dating and committed dating. When we first meet people we do light dating. When we are weeding out others and having sex and not seeing anyone else, and it’s agreed on by both parties, we are dating pretty seriously. And once you are living together (preferably engaged), you are committed dating.

But you date until the day you marry. Then you are married. Until you say "I DO!" you are single and dating in one of those 3 forms.
